Another exciting immigration stream is called the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program is a fast paced immigration program that allows employers in Canada’s four Atlantic provinces Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island to hire foreign nationals when they are not able to find in the local market.

First time introduced in 2017, the federal government and provincial governments looking to welcome more than 67000 newcomers and their families to Atlantic Canada region by Dec 2021 through the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program.  There are recent changes to the AIP and those will bring benefits for international students and employers in the healthcare sector.

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program is designed to welcome newcomers to fill the requirements and needs of the local employers and communities. Atlantic Immigration is a  three year pilot program that allows local employers to identify, recruit and retain global talent.

This is an employer driven program that facilitates the hiring of international workers and in addition to that all  Principal applicants arriving in Canada under Atlantic Pilot Immigration Program should have a job offer from a designated employer in Canada and an individual settlement plan for them and their families.
